yes, I definitely think of it as a month name. Where do you live that April is widely used? I mean I know it's no January.... but I still think I've only met one April my entire life...
Yes...just as much as May and June are... I personally have only known one April, born in the early 70's. Yep, she was born in April too. I think of April as more of a "month" name than the others, actually.
I have two sisters-in-law named April (one of them spells it Apreal). All I can think of when I hear their names are months. Which inevitably makes me start to think about whether I could ever give my child a month name. And I always conclude that I could do Mae if I don't have to use the "y."
I know a ton of (mostly adult) Aprils. I live in MD.
Ha me too. Maybe it has regional popularity
I live in AL, and it's fairly popular here.

April, May and June are definitely the most common (August seems to be making a comeback on the boy side, as well). I think I've known more people named April than all the others combined, so I see where you're coming from, OP.

The only April I know was born in the month of April and it was her dying father's wish for her to be named April. The story goes that he picked it because of the month. So I always associate the two together.
I know a ton of Aprils. Most of whom are in their twenties and thirties and I live in the northeast. I definitely think of it as a month name and because I dislike the name so much, I have this weird aversion to the month April. ha.
Me: 35 | Him: 35 G born 10/25/12 | H born 3/25/14 TTC#3 since 7/2015 Early loss 12/2015 most likely due to low progesterone Began medicated cycles (Femara/Ovidrel/Endometrin) with TI 1/2016 BFP 3/22, EDD 12/4/16 ~ It's a GIRL!
I know a lot of Aprils too. And I don't necessarily peg it as a month name.
One of my best friends is named April May (first name, last name) no joke. Her parents thought they were being so funny. But she totally loves it and embraces it.
Re: S/O: Does April even count as a month name anymore?
