Our coffee table opens up so we hid all of her toys (other than the really big ones) in there and only give her a few at a time. At the end of the day I put them back in and give her new ones the next day. This has really helped keeping her entertained! I put all the pillows on the floor one day and she had a blast climbing all over them.

She loves the rings from the Fisher Price ring stacker. No matter what other toys are around, she always plays with those.
She also loves rattles/shakers. We put on music and she plays along with the music and dances.
And her favorite toy....A SPATULA! My mom got it for her so she could use it to play a toy drum. She has little interest in the drum but loves the spatula and has played with it for like, half an hour straight on multiple occasions.
along the same lines as Redzee, measuring cups and spoons. We have metal ones so they make tons of noise, he loves it. And he's really into watching me put puzzles together lately too.

I forgot about that! I give E a bunch of plastic spatulas, spoons, measuring cups, and mixing bowls and she goes nutso. I even put some in the tub with her one day because I couldn't get her to stop throwing a fit.

When in the heck do you have time to put a puzzle together?! lol
Thanks for this post. I think DS is getting bored too. He also loves the PS3. It's easy for him to turn on and he likes looking at the light that comes on. It's magic! Thanks for all of the new ideas!

They're like 8 piece puzzles! LOL! Or ones with numbers or the alphabet. I sit on the floor with him in my lap and put pieces back after he picks them up to chew.

Anything she can nom nom on. She just chews on everything. lol
She LOVES to be sung to. We do a lot of wheels on the bus/itsy bitsy spider/pat a cake/etc.
We have a few picture books-100 first words by baby einstein is a good one. Both of my kids still enjoy it.
Mostly though, she just steals anything of her older brother's that fits in her mouth and nom noms most of the day. haha
