Ugh.....now I know how our LOs feel

During our student vs faculty volleyball game I dove and scraped up my knee. I cleaned it out after the game and put on a bandaid. I changed the bandaid Friday and Saturday morning. By Saturday evening when I took it off to sleep, my leg was itching. I just chalked it up to being hot with the bandaid. Sunday I had a slight rash but by Monday morning it was full on rash. We're talking blisters, oozing the whole nasty 9 yards. I literally wanted to tear my skin off. Monday at work my leg started hurting so I looked down. My whole leg was red and about 2xs the size it should have been. Went to urgent care and the doc said I had the most impressive case of contact dermatits he had ever seen. If I was itching that badly (and I know better than to scratch it) it makes me sad for our poor little ones who battle rashes off and on and have to try and not itch.
