Babies on the Brain

s/o being biitchy

I forgot how annoying the posts about husbands who can't handle poopy diapers are.  Maybe this is an UO, but I can't fathom a grown man who has to run away and puke in the middle of changing a shiitty diaper.

  • I completely agree.

  • There are actually guys out there who do this?  Like, full grown married men?  WTF

I'd literally fall down laughing if DH did this, partly because he's seen and dealt with a hell of a lot worse than poopy diapers during deployments, but even if that weren't the case I'd make fun of him until the end of time for something like that.  And I have a pretty sensitive gag reflex myself.  Pansies.

  • Apparently Leslie - see the second or third response to the caveman post on 0-3. It's not the first time I've seen shiit like that (har har) either.

  • I absolutely agree. My husband changed our sons first poopy diaper which was the lovely meconium (sp?) tar.

Ha, I just saw that.  Sounds to me like there are some husbands who are just trying to get out of having to change dirty diapers.  I cannot imagine someone being *that* grossed out by baby/kid poop when they have a toddler too, and have had plenty of time to get used to it.

  • I'm guessing my DH would literally rather die than be seen as someone so fussy they couldn't handle someone else's poop. Especially their own kid.

I really can't imagine being with a man like that.

  • Aka - I can't either, but I've seen sooo many posts like that on the age/BM boards.

How about a pregnant woman?  Becuase I've come very close to vomiting on my baby while changing her poopy diapers.  lol  But DH totally changes diapers and he always will.  That's part of being a parent!

  • Wow, that is insane to me. DH even sprayed most of our poopy diapers (I really do puke easily - so I couldn't stomach it while pregnant. Thankfully, DS decided to PT! lol). Not changing poopy diapers would not go over well around here.
