Any Zofran users without insurance?

*I posted this on the first trimester board too*

Our insurance is pending and my doctor just called in a prescription for Zofran for me... Do any of you know how much it costs without insurance? I'm afraid DH will go to pick it up and it will be hundreds of dollars and I'll be stuck feeling sick until our insurance goes through...

  • I'm not much help, but I've heard rumors that it is between $200 and $600 without insurance.  For your sake, I hope it's much cheaper than that!

  • I have the generic and the first time my insurance didn't approve it, I picked up a weeks worth and it was $60.  That was with taking two tablets a day.

  • Maybe you have already tried this but have you tried taking a half of a Unisom Sleep Tab and 50 mg of B-6 at night and then you can take more b-6 through out the day. It has helped me a lot and is much cheaper then taking Zofran.
  • I got reguar tablets to swollow, not the dissolve kind like my dr wanted me to get.  My pharmacy only carried the one kind.  I have really crappy prescription insurance and a bottle of 30 was only 13 dollars and change.  So not too bad!
