I need your help. My daughter is 14 months and needs a convertible car seat that offers rear facing. I like the Britax but not the price tag way over my budget. Any suggestions?
What's your budget? The cosco scenera is $40 and IIRC has good safety ratings, but target has a sale on Britax for $100 this week. All carseats do have to meet minimum safety regulations and work great as long as they're installed correctly.
I have a Britax Marathon ( it goes to 35lbs rf) and it is ok. My DD hated it after about 18 months becuase it dug into her crotch.
DS is still in it at 22 months, but we also have 2 Safety first complete airs. They RF to 40lbs, and will definitely get you to that weight with the height it provides.
The britax are an easier install in my opinion, but the safety first are more comfortable.
