Meniere's Disease

I had sudden vertigo yesterday that lasted several hours. I woke up this morning with the same vertigo so I called my doctor. The nurse told me to come straight in and see the doctor. Blood sugar was fine, iron was fine, and blood pressure was normal 107/70. The doctor talked to me about my symptoms and then left the room for a few minutes. He came back with a referral for me to see a neurologist next week. He thinks that I may have Meniere's Disease or another disorder of the inner ear. He put me on bed rest until further notice so that I don't fall and hurt myself or the baby because apparently the episodes will more than likely get worse. My mom went completely deaf due to some issue with her inner ear so it is definitely a scary experience because Meniere's disease is possibly hereditary.  

Next week I am seeing 4 different doctors...Monday morning I am seeing a surgeon to evaluate my newly developed hernia, Monday afternoon I am seeing a Maternal Fetal Specialist and Genetic Counselor because of my abnormal AFP test results, Tuesday morning I am seeing the neurologist, and Thursday morning I go back and see my regular OB doctor to follow up for all of the other appointments. This is overwhelming, I have never been to so many different doctors in my life! I will be relieved after next week because I will hopefully have all, or most, of the answers to the questions that I have.
