I have to bring snacks on Thursday for my child's 2.5-3 year old preschool. It can't be homemade (which annoys me, but I get it) and low in sugar content. Luckily there is no food allergies in this class. The class is only 1.5 hours long so it doesn't have to be a huge snack just something for them to munch on here and there.
On hand I have graham crackers, granola bars, and whole grain crackers and cheese. Would any of these be ok? If so, which one would you go with? I was leaning towards graham crackers since they seem to be a traditional snack for kids.
Any other suggestions since I will have to do this once a month.
Re: Snack suggestions?
I'd stick with the graham crackers, but anything should be fine. In 90 minutes, I wouldn't think anyone would be hungry enough for a granola bar.
when i did the snacks for the boys' class last month (had to do three days) i did string cheese with saltines one day, homemade granola bars another day, and um cheese and crackers the third day.
