2nd Trimester

14 weeks and feeling normal???

Ok so I was pretty sick the first trimester but battled through it.  Now I'm feeling totally normal, almost like my old self.  Is this right?  My husband thinks it's so funny that I geek about being sick and now I geek about feeling normal.  I just want to make sure this is the norm or that others feel this way too.  I get nervous about the little bean being ok all the time. :)  Total freak I know! lol

  • Other than having a UTI and already looking pregnant I have feelt almost normal yesterday and today.  Maybe this is a good thing?  After all, they say that we should get energy back and get over ms.

  • That's normal, most people feel great in second tri.  I hardly had any symptoms with my first pregnancy and everything was fine.  This time around has been even easier.

  • I am 14 weeks and have been feeling great for about 3 weeks already. I never had m/s, but was just exhausted. That has passed. Welcome to the second trimester for us!

  • My doctor said it is perfectly normal to feel this way at that stage of pregnancy.  He said a lot of the first tri symptoms go away and you do feel normal and often women will worry that something happened to the baby.  More than likely your baby is just fine so enjoy this time of feeling good :)

Uhmmmm YES! I did not even have morning sickness. Not one single time! And my boobs did not grow. Nothing. Try that and feel like everything is going ok, when everyone around keeps going on and on about how m/s is the clearest sign of a healthy pregnancy... People should educate themselves that not feeling sick out of your mind is perfectly normal too!!

  • Thanks everyone for the answers and support!  I'm totally a control freak and I'm learning there are things we just can't control.  :)  I go back to the doc in like a week and half and I'm sure she's going to laugh at me too.
