I think this is officially the last week of the summer fruit - boo! I'll miss it as much as DD. I just can't get excited about apples. I'll be biding my time for the winter citrus. PIP your child's cute lunch! It doesn't have to be fancy. I assure you that your child will notice the effort!

This is a two-tiered bento box. A ham sandwich bear (and not a very good one!) on a Hawaiian roll, pretzel chips, cheese cubes and lots of strawberries with a little container of fruit dip.

DD was hungry after spending the morning fishing, so I quickly made a sandwich with a peek-a-boo pumpkin, mini Goldfish, and strawberries, nectarines and tomatoes in a frog container. She ate the strawberries and said she was finished. : ( But since everything else was packed in a box, I put it in the fridge and she ate it all later except for the Goldfish.

A "love" lunch in honor of DD adding that to the list of words she knows. She really likes the puzzle sandwich cutter. (I saw that Munchkin is now making a similar cutter, though this one is part of a set from Lunch Punch.) The mini fork at the bottom was for the nectarine. There's also tomatoes on picks and a Babybel cheese. She ate everything!

Bring on Halloween! Nectarines in a spider silicone container (from the Target Halloween section), Hawaiian roll sandwich in a footed cupcake container with a witch hat (Party City), cucumbers and a Jack-o-lantern cut out of the Babybel cheese.
Re: *Cute lunch check-in*
I keep forgetting to buy two different loaves of bread but I know DD would love it.
I'm glad the cream cheese worked!
Love these!
I don't have a PIP, but I made a "volcano" for DS for breakfast the other day. I just took a fruit on the bottom yogurt, and inverted it on the plate. When you take off the cup, the fruit spills down the sides of the pile of yogurt. I sprinkled granola all around the outside of it, and pushed in a vanilla wafer (from Trader Joe's) so it was sticking out of the top. He said it was the best breakfast ever!
That is fan.tast.tic!!!
