Anyone DIY Soap Bars, bath bombs, etc

I'd like to make my own natural soap bars for body and/or face, but don't know where to begin. My mom used to purchase homemade oatmeal (and other good stuff in them) from a man at a farmer's market back when I was in middle school and they used to leave our skin so soft and moisturized. I'd like to make my own, different types, yet all natural ingredients. As well as, spa-like stuff like bath bombs and lotions. If anyone has any info/resources, please do share....thank you sssooo much.

    You may want to look into taking a course in your area.  I know our city offered one a couple years ago, but it was full so I couldn't take it.  This actually reminded me to check it out again for this year....

    And that was the same link I was going to post for a bath bomb!

    I have highly highly highly recommend the "cookbook" called EcoBeauty. You can find it on amazon for $13. Seriously amazing! Most of the I gradients you will probably already have in your pantry, the other tougher stuff can normally be found at your local health food store...I have found everythingI needed at EarthFare and Fresh Market. I have made all kinds of fun things from hair conditioner to lip gloss! I am making little jars of sugar scrub for my female family members as stocking stuffers this year too! Truly, it is so worth the few dollars.
