Childbirth Classes

Hey Atlanta Ladies,

 

Any suggestions of good Childbirth classes to attend? This is DH and I's first baby and we wanted to take a class together. Let me know what are some good classes in Atlanta(OR classes NOT to sign up for)

    We did a childbirth class through my OB's office- it was taught by one of the L&D nurses at Kennestone (where I delivered).  I was glad that we took it... for DH's benefit more than mine.  He was completely clueless.

    We did a breastfeeding class through Piedmont.  It used to be free, but I think there is a charge now.  It was great too and again, I was really happy that I dragged DH along b/c it really gave him a better understanding and made him more supportive.

    Also, DH took a Daddy Bootcamp class through Kennestone.  He had a great time and even went back with DS as one of the real life examples later on.

    We did our childbirth class through Northside Hospital (where I delivered).  We did the Piedmont breastfeeding class, and I agree with slwprincess that it was good that I dragged DH along with me.
