I said I'd never give Simon a bottle in his crib, but I went and did it this morning. In addition to napping only 1 hour a day all week, he decided that 5:30 was a fantastic time to wake up. I changed him, and tried to bring him to bed with me but that just turned into a game of "keep me from crawling off the edge". So I broke down and gave him a bottle and put him back in bed. I got to lay down for another 30 glorious minutes without a throat punch or toe in my eye.

 I've learned 2 things from this. 1- I'd make a terrible POW or spy. a few days of sleep deprivation and I'd fold like a cheap... something funny. 2- I have no room to judge other moms for doing things I think are ridiculous, because d@mmit, this is hard!

    i hope he starts catching up on sleep soon so you can, too! i'm sure we've all done something we never thought we would have prior to having our babies. no judging here! in fact, i think i'm jealous...p STILL won't hold a bottle by himself :(

    LOL, no bottle holding here either, but she can take out and put in, a dvd. haha.

    Aww!  I agree with PP that we've all done something we said we would never do.  Maybe you can take a nap with him today or nap while he naps today?  Hope you get some rest!

    Thanks ladies! I did just squeeze a quick nap in. Not back to 100% but feeling much better.
