Well I got good and bad news today

The good news is my betas were 1400 this morning so they dropped another 1000 which means I shouldn't need surgery. The bad news is that the nurse told me today that the lab closes for 2-3wks in December so if AF doesnt show within the next week or so I'll have to wait until January for my next IVF and that won't work for us because of traveling etc. Which means were looking at February!!! Grrr please send all the AF dust you can.

I know that in the grand scheme of things an extra month or two isn't a huge deal but for some reason I found it absolutely devastating to hear.  I asked the nurse if it would be ok to get an Rx for birth control once AF shows this way I'll already be on it for the IVF cycle and it will help insure that my 2nd cycle isn't crazy long and she said sure! So as long as she shows her face in the next 7-10 I should hopefully be ok but we will definitely be cutting it close!

IVF#2 and Stims started 12/2 ER 12/16 ET 12/21 transferred two beautiful blastocysts. Please stick LO's! BFP 12/26

    I really hope that she shows her face soon for you!!! That really sucks that they're closing for a few weeks. I've never known a whole lab to do that before.

    I am glad to hear that your numbers are dropping and that you won't need surgery!  I really hope that AF gets here soon and that you don't have to wait until February to cycle.  I am glad they are willing to write you a script for BCP's so you can get ready to cycle asap.  Best of luck hun.

    Sending you all the AF dust possible!  I hope she shows, for once AF get it right!

    I know what you mean about an extra month or two.  When you have been trying for so long, another month is almost unbearable.

    I hope she shows up quickly.  A month or two really isn't that long, but when you've already BEEN waiting so long it seems like forever!

    I'm glad your betas are going down, but that is stinky about the lab.  I will keep everything crossed for you that AF shows soon and you don't have to wait until Feb. for IVF.
