The last couple nights DD has been waking up at 2:30am to talk and play. She eventually falls back to sleep but it's not as easy for me to do - once I'm up, I'm up (I'm about to fall over at work today). I shouldn't complain because I know some still aren't STTN but I definitely got spoiled. Anyone else seeing the beginning of 4MW?
Re: I guess it's 4MW time...boooo!
::knock on wood:: I'm really hoping we just miss the 4mw.
There's a chance...right?!
What's it called when the baby has been wakeful from day one?
DD still gets up every 3 hours, on average. I guess one advantage to having a bad sleeper is that we won't even notice the 4MW.
this! it seems like he 'woke up' at 2 weeks! i'm hoping we hit it early because we just got over dealing with waking every 30mins to 2 hours, depending on the night. if it's any worse than that, i will cry.
i really hope not long - i've seen some on 3-6 say they've been dealing for a month!
i need the "trooper" you speak of, lol. MH sleeps through everything...
ditto!
What is 4MW?
I guess i'm not missing out on anything..my LO never sleeps through the night, but it has gotten worst. She has been squirming and fussing every other hour! Huhhh..when will this end.
same here, we are still getting up 2/3 times a night!
right there with you. I think I might be having it but then it's only a little worse than normal so i maybe it'sjust a bad night
ohhhhh... I was going to post my own 4 MW wakeful post - I wasnt on yesterday to join in this one!
Since 8 weeks old - O has slept like a dream! a full 8-10 hours every night. Now, since Thursday of last week, he has been up at 4:30 on.the.dot EVERY NIGHT. I try to shush pat/pacifier first, but then end up nursing him.... He generally will fall back asleep within a half hour, but I need to get up at 6 to start getting ready for work and get O's stuff ready for daycare.
I really wish if this is the 4 MW that he would wake up at 2 or something - so at least I get longer chunks of sleep together - because I am turning into a zombie with lack of sleep!
