Running out of time...

Today was my last OB appt before delivery. She was firm on not letting me go past 40w1d, so I now have a scheduled RCS this Monday. I am super bummed but still holding out hope that baby will come (via VBAC!) before the 10th!

I am still only about 1 cm dilated and 50?% effaced. I've been that way for almost 3 weeks now. 

Any success stories with similar situations as mine? Did you by chance make great progress (in terms of dilation and effacement) in the last week of your pg and go on to successfully VBAC?

Thanks for any shared experiences!

    I was induced for my VBAC at 41 weeks, so don't have experience with what you are saying.  But some people don't progress at all until they go into labor, so please don't be discouraged with your lack of progress so far.  You may go into labor tonight and deliver tomorrow morning, for all you know!

    Woudl they not let you try an induction at 40 weeks before the RCS?  My OB is going to let me go to 41 weeks but then he will still let me try an induction before automatically going to a RCS.  I would at least ask because it gives you a last chance for a VBAC.  Good luck!!!
