Struggling to meet momma friends

Hey ladies.  While I realize this is an Atlanta board, I am hoping you can share some insight with me on meeting some new people. Recently moved just south of Macon from Indianapolis.  This city is smaller than anywhere I've ever lived and honestly the people are great but way too conservative and churchy for us.  I have gone to MOPS, storytimes, parks (I have a 3 year old and an 18mo old) and am struggling to make connections.  I am willing to do almost anything to make GA our new home, but I am starting to just feel sorry for myself and miss "home" more than ever.  

My husband took a job here and LOVES it (of course) and I am so happy for him but as I said, I'm miserable.  I miss my girlfriends!
