My DS still uses a sleep sack. For him, it is a sleep signal. Since I put him in them for so long he associates it with going to sleep. I will probably be investing in some big ones for this winter. I have tried a few times to break him of using them, but he just lays in his crib and plays. As soon as I zip him up in the sack settles right down and goes to sleep. DS#1 probably only used them until he was about 10 mos. old so it just goes to show that every kid is different.
Not trying to be snarky....just curious what the purpose of this is??? Why would you need a sleep sack that old?
Also, they're helpful if you have an active sleeper. DD moves around so much at night, I can't keep a blanket on her. She does much better staying warm and cozy in her sleep sack.
ETA: Wanted to add that I have a good friend that has 3 year old twins that still sleep happily in their cribs and have never even tried to climb out thanks to their sleep sacks. I don't think we'll take it that far, but if you need to keep your LO in their crib, sounds like a great idea!
I tried a sleep sack that was given to me because my dd is an active sleeper. Once the weather got cooler she was waking in the night. I put on the sleep sack on the off chance it was the cold bothering her and PRESTO!! she started to sleep right through the night.
You can order Halo sacks online through Kohl's. I'm not sure how big your LO is but they have the regular sacks up to XL and they have the larger, big kid sacks too. They're on sale right now and if you order today or tomorrow you can get 30% off and free shipping with your Kohl's charge. Use SAVING30 for the 30% off and MVCLUVSFS for free shipping.

We have been using Halo sleepsacks since the beginning. I usually get them at BRU, but sometimes at target or amazon depending on where the sales are. He's sleeping in the one with foot holes, and we just love them!
Re: sleep sacks for 2 year olds
