I remember watching 16 and Pregnant and the girl decribing the "lightning bolt" feeling, which actually was a signal that she was in labor. Well, I just felt that feeling, and it was quite painful! It only lasted for about 2 seconds... but I am a little nervous now. I have been crampy all day and have had a TON of pelvic pressure the last 2 weeks.
Has anyone else experienced this feeling? Should I be worried?

The pelvic pressure sounds like the baby has dropped. If the lightening bolt feeling only lasted for 2 seconds, it sounds like it was braxton hicks. If your in labor, your contractions will begin getting closer and more in intensity.
LO has dropped for me and it feels like she is going to fall out. I am doing the waddle and there is more pressure down there. For me, I started feeling the braxton hicks around 30 weeks. It first felt like pms cramps. It was never steady and usually didn't last for very long. As I am getting closer to my due date, the braxton hicks are becoming stronger but do not get closer together and are irregular.
