BR: Whitney is 9 months today, woot woot!! Her Dr's appmnt is this Friday, and I can not wait to see how much she has grown. My mom and I are also taking her to Portrait Innovations after the appointment to get some fall pictures done. Her last professional ones were at 3 months, and she could not sit up then.
NBR: In a few weeks H and I are leaving on a tuesday and going about 4 hours north to his familys cabin on Lake Michigan. We wont be back till Sunday, wooohoo! Its a shotty internet/phone connection up there, with only 2 tv channels, and I can't wait. I plan to take W on long walks through the woods, and enjoy the fresh air, fall colors, and being in the middle of nowhere. Hoping H and I can reconnect a little bit too, we have been on the outs for a little bit.
BR: LO is so close to crawling - I look forward to it and dread it all at the same time. He went to his 9mo check-up yesterday and weighed 21lbs5oz and was 28.5" long. I need to take him over to a local pumpkin patch and take his picture in costume and fall outfit.
NBR: The shutdown of where I work to be complete. They shut the manufacturing down but are keeping sales & product support here. It is super awkward working around people who are on their way out the door (everyone got a minimum of 60 day notice and some are here to end of year). My boss got a 60 day notice about 4 weeks after the initial announcement and then they moved his 2 employees to another manager (which I am very, very happy with). But it is all just AWKWARD and uncomfortable with certain people.

You should not feel bad...I can dish it and I can take it. Anyhoo, if someone didn't crack a joke about that other post I probably would have changed boards!
BR: I am really excited for her to start talking! She's *finally* babbling (after learning to sit, crawl, pull up, sit down first). I can't wait for her to say something other than babababababa.
Not BR: MOVING!!!! Our notice to vacate is in and our lease will be up in 5 weeks. We've got the deposit and first month's rent saved up, now we just need to find a house!

BR: I'm excited for him to start walking and talking. He is standing and taking little steps while he stands..(marching in place!) He is just growing so fast now..I love it, but it also makes me sad..its going by so fast. I'm grateful I have the time to spend with him by staying at home this year.
NBR: I look forward to one day getting my hair cut and colored again...I'm praying this happens soon. (I don't ask for much these days.)
BR: For Simon to start talking. He sort of says "all-done" after we say it to him. More like "ad-da" but a mommy can dream right? Also just for him to be able to play more interactively. Just this morning I was teaching him to push a button on one of his toys by pulling his hand over to it. Then he grabbed my hand and made me push it! and got all excited about it! SO cute!
NBR: For H to get home tonight so I can sleep in. LOL! Sad right?
