I'm looking for meal suggestions for DD's 2nd birthday party this weekend. I'd like something fairly simple and that I'm able to at least partially prepare ahead of time. My sister and BIL are coming from out of state, so I want to be able to spend some time with them instead of in the kitchen.
I had planned to do some hearty soups in the crock pot, but it's supposed to be in the 80's here on Sat., so I've scratched that idea. We're planning on about 12 people, and many of us are vegetarian. All my usuals are seeming blah, and I'm stumped- any great ideas? Thanks!
