Hi ladies! I'm heading to Philly next week for business and dh & lo are coming along. We aren't going to bother with our cloth diapers. What are the best sposies?
Oh where in Philly? We live right over the bridge.
What size diaper will he wear? If he's in a size 3+ make sure if you buy Pampers that you don't get any with the dry max. Elisabeth did well in those and 7th generation. We only tried huggies once and they ran small. She pee'd out the legs and pooped up her back. She was to chubby for them I think.
When we had yeast and I used disposables, she seemed to do well in the Huggies Pure & Natural. I felt they ran smaller than the size they said, though.

My friends swear by Sams Club brand diapers.
We'll be right downtown at the Loews. we'll be going to jersey though to have dinner with a friend one night she lives in brick.
Thanks for the recs, everyone. I'm afraid of getting the wrong brand and having a week of leaks and blowouts. we've never had a blowout with cloth, so this should be interesting.
We're still trying to find out the right brand. Pampers never seemed to fit her correctly, so we switched to Huggies but now those don't seem to fit her either. I wish they made half sizes for Diapers, because I swear she could use a size between 2-3.
If you like gelatto there is a REALLY good place near there. It's called Capogiro and on 13th and Samson. I think it's 3 or 4 blocks from the Loews near city hall.

thanks noted. and i will sadly probably be there every single day.

WHen we use sposies I actually really like the Target Up & Up brand or the Costco Kirkland ones. The Huggies P&N or Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive are ones I used on vacation and they were fine. I would recommend sizing up larger than you think you need because that will help with blowouts. I'd say you likely need a 3. And be prepared for blowouts no matter what you choose - I just came back from 3 weeks on vacation and was SO SICK of dealing with blowouts that I seriously wanted to hug my CDs when we got home. Have a nice trip!

thanks! I'm actually considering just finding a laundry mat and dealing with our cloth now... I'm a wee bit attached to them
When we travel, we use the grovia disposable insert. They are one size, so you don't have to worry about using them all up in a certain amount of time. We use them with the grovia shells, but you could probably use them in any cover. They work great and we really like them. Whenever we have had to use traditional disposables, we put a cover over them to contain blowouts. You can hand wash them in a sink if need be.

We use Pampers swaddlers size 3. We used Huggies the first few weeks when DS was born and we had massive blowouts.
