Dear mamas,
I think (think?!?!?!) H2 is it for us. I don't THINK we are looking at a third. That in mind, I want to be strategic about how I pack the boxes. I have a metric sh!t tonne of swaddlers/sleep sack kinds of things.
Would you pack the swaddlers/sleepsacks in the boxes with the appropriate sizes (i.e., newborn; 0-3; 3-6; 6-12; etc) of clothes? Or would you pack ALL of them in one box, bulk, all sizes? My goal is to sell them.
Talk to me. Tell me your reasons. If you were buying secondhand, would you rather buy them WITH regular clothes or separate?
Swaddle battle,
kewliegirl
Re: Packing clothes as "a lot" to sell -- WWYD
I'd probably say separate too. I feel like the size range for the sleep sacks is a lot bigger than his clothes (he outgrows clothes at a different rate than the sleep sacks). Also we sometimes want a fleece or cotton sleep sack depending on the house temp more than the season (like in summer sometimes I put him in the fleece sleep sack if the AC was going on high, even though most people probably used cotton at that time of year).
ETA: I think you could probably get more selling the sleep sacks separately too. Clothes always seem to be on sale somewhere, but sleep sacks hardly ever go on sale.
Definitely separate.
I'd even think about listing some of the swaddlers on e-bay. I happened to have a Sleep Sack new in the package, and I sold it on e-bay for like $10. I probably got it on clearance, and only paid near that when I bought it.
