Cloth Diapering

why is everyone so crazy for babylegs?

Are they really that great? What about for boys? I mean, they don't look silly or girly on boys? I want to get some to see what the fuss is all about, but I think DH needs a little convincing because he'll just think I'm crazy for buying what he calls "girls leggings" for our little dude.

  • we don't use them alot any more but I put them on DS all the time when he was hanging out in just a diaper.  they were great for keeping his legs warm and protected when he was learning to crawl.

  • I love them for when DS is hanging out in a diaper and crawling all over our wood floors. Plus they are so cute! DH thinks they're silly, but I don't really care.

  • I can not get them to stay up on our little fat thigh baby.

  • I liked them for when he was little because they saved us $. I only had to buy a pair or two or jeans or pants for the rare days that we went out during the winter. The babylegs fit him throughout his size changes.

  • For me it was all about protecting LOs legs when she was learning to crawl.

  • i like them because i can change a diaper without taking them off. i think they look fine on my boy - i have green dots, rainbow, and blue argyle.

i also bought cheap knock-offs on eBay. you can "buy it now" for great prices.

  • I love them. I have the green argyle BG ones and cow print (DS#2 wore them to Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A).  My 5 yr. old also likes to wear them on his arms.

Exactly. We have 3 pairs (green/white stripes, blue and brown checked, and blue argyle) and I love them. I just have to be really careful not to call them "tights" when my DH is around. :)

  • We have a girl, so I can't relate to the concern about looking girly... but I think they're so convenient as something to wear around the house. DH stays at home with her, and any day I put pants on her, I'd come home and find her in only her onesie/shirt/dress with bare legs. The pants would only make it to the first diaper change. Babylegs will stay on her all day!

I got several pairs of them for $2 each on tdazzled.com. They have a special section for boys' ones... which also inexplicably contains lace leggings, so ignore those! lol

  • My issue with babylegs is that I run into a cold feet issue.  I came across thigh high socks from Pork Chop Kids.  Love them!  They are great under dresses or skirts.

  • DH doesn't like them too much but I just don't care. DS rocks the baby legs and looks freakin cute in them!
