By the time I process what is happening, they're done and I don't know what to say. -IkesHawiian Haven't had this happen, but a male coworker did try to touch my belly on Friday. I just backed away & told him the baby wasn't moving at that moment. Found it a tad creepy tho.

this thursday. it's the a/s! i'm really excited...even though we're team green, i reeeeealllly want to the u/s tech to slip and accidentally tell us

the a/s scan, also a friend of mine had a baby recently and i get to go visit her this week.

i baked and ate 1/3 loaf of beer bread over this weekend. i won't be eating anymore..but it's just sitting there and it's sooooo yummy.

no strangers have done it yet...but people i know (friends and fam) have reached down w/o me asking them to. it's super irritating...i feel baby move, and i tell h or my mom to feel it. friends and fam practically dive to be the first. my h still hasn't felt it yet, and that pisses me off that people have dove in front of him....i don't say anything, but i grab h's hand and scoot him to where it should be, ignoring whoever elses hands in the way.

i won't. i told a few people, and generally people love it. my brother said something that made me really self conscious about it, so i don't plan on telling anyone else. and now i'm also not so sure on the name. ugh.

i *think* i just want my h, and my mom. but h thinks it's unfair to have my mom and not his...but i love my mom, and my MIL is just the man i loves mom...so i think on my "official" requests, i won't write down my moms name, but i will cry and ask for my mommy in the delivery room. you can't say "no" to a crying pregnant woman in labor, right?

my faves have been non-maternity pants....victoria secret pink yoga pants-- the kind that roll over..i've just *not* rolled them down, and i LOOOVE these. i'm wearing my pre-pregnant pants, and bought a few more in my pre-pregnant size...and they fit just fine, and i'll fully be able to wear them afterward too.

boss - a few days before 13 weeks (he randomly promoted me, so i thought under full disclosure, i should tell him right then instead of waiting a few more days for the dr's "okay".
coworkers - i let it go through the grape vine. people have big mouths...it travels fast.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 5. A little nausea started on and off, mostly when I need to eat and when I first wake up.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Oct 24th. First checkup and ultrasound. Fingers are crossed baby is still growing.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Finally telling my bffs this week. I won't be able to go 2 1/2 more weeks since things are coming up. They would figure it out.
4. Monday confession? Symptoms coming and going are making me very nervous.

I plan on not telling the name, due to not being able to give a name before seeing the baby. I know it's early, but I already don't plan on keeping to one name. We will probably narrow down to two or three then name after birth.

Immediate family was within the first week of knowing. Due to DH can't keep a seceret so I had to say something. Bffs are this week and boss/coworkers will not be until week 12 - 16. They probably wouldn't notice a bump until later due to me being overweight anyway. So no need to tell right away.

2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Next week and glucose test plus meet my MW new partner. I plan to ask her about the break up at Evergreen birth center as well

4. Monday confession? More of a vent: Anything I eat with any flavor comes back up or gives me such tummy troubles it's not even worth it! I want to eat my weight in candy corn and pepermint ice cream but I so pay for it when I'm done.

They figured it out on their own when I wasn't drinking or eating sushi for 6 months prior. We told our family who knew about the IVF as we went through the process. And after that, we kinda just let the word leak out We never came facebook "out" but it's kinda leaked through time.

1. What week are you in? My LAST week!!! Week 36!! Any new aches or pains? Just feeling like a baby is going to fall out every time I stand up!
2. When is your next appointment? I had one today, and will have one last appt on Thursday. Will anything special happen at that appointment? Thursday is an NST, growth U/S, and going over info and paperwork for my C/S next monday.

Twins: Family - The night we found out there were two in there so 7.5 weeks. A few friends were told at around 10 weeks, and the rest were told at 13 weeks. I dont think I told my boss until I was almost 20 weeks this time.

First of all, I just want to mention that somehow I've ended up on the list for February and April, and it should only be the April 18 EDD. We are going to be Team Green all the way so you can change that as well if you want.

2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? My next appointment is this coming Wednesday. It will be with my Dr.'s PA so I'm sure it won't be anything fantastic, I just hope I get to hear baby's HB!

Unfortunately, my side didn't react as positively as hoped as they're already coming up with alternative nicknames.

3. What are you looking forward to this week? Dinner with friends on Thursday, and Cougar football on Saturday.
4. Monday confession? I want to bake cookies ... but I don't particularly want to share them.
5. Do you actually do anything when people you don't know touch your belly? By the time I process what is happening, they're done and I don't know what to say. -IkesHawiian NOT a fan. Someone did it to me when I was pregnant with Collin, in Trader Joe's. I just kind of backed up to put some space between us.
6. For the BTDT mom, at what point were you "over" being pregnant? ?NioleD0516 I assume this is "been there, done that." I have been over it since the first morning I had my head in the toilet. I am thrilled to have another baby, but my body does not handle pregnancy well.

10. Who did you have/will you have in the delivery room with you? ?jennlin I had my husband, mom and godmother. My GM stayed in the background and took photos, which was great. I will probably just have my husband and mom this time, though, since my GM is caring for her elderly mom pretty much around the clock.

I was over it at the beginning when I couldn't eat without gagging and had to take Zofran twice a day :-) But I really hit the point where I was done about two weeks ago (35ish) and I am most definitely over it now.

10. Who did you have/will you have in the delivery room with you? ?jennlin Well, with my first, I catered to everyone else and was going to allow both my mom and my MIL in the room. Then, I had to have a c/s and my MIL tried to talk me into talking to the dr to let her come into the surgery too. Heck no, if I was going to have another person other than DH, I'd have MY MOM! Anyway, this time around, it'll just be DH and I in my c/s. If I do go into labor, it'll just be DH and maybe my mom if she gets here in time and I need her. I'm sure I'll ask for her at some point.

She didn't last ten minutes and told me that the reason we wanted it quiet (because I was nervous about m/c since it was early) was "silly. It's not that common". This time: we told my parents the morning after I found out. Everyone else found out around 6.5 weeks when we had our first u/s and saw the heartbeat. My OB told us it was pretty safe to tell at that point. MIL found out via FB this time around and denies not respecting our wishes the first time.

Mainly if I see someone coming I tell them to back off and that I don't like to be touched. 7. Pg with your second, third: Recommend your double stroller! ?mrssmith717 - We just ordered the Baby Jogger City Select. It's AWESOME! It can be used as just a snap n go for the infant carrier, a single or a double. We tested it out in the store recently and thought it was perefect for our needs!

With this one we told family at 8 weeks (we didn't find out until 7 weeks this time). And we told everyone else at 9 weeks. It was getting hard to keep it a secret at work because there are certain types of patients I can't take care of while pregnant.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 6 just started, and feel wierd because I'm only sometimes queasy, and nap-prone, and generally feeling gassy/achy down there.

My mom = ruining my life for many years, including my wedding this year = not very motherly. DH's mom = very nice lady, but she will be fine waiting outside til later. I think its too personal of an event, and shouldn't be about pleasing anyone or owing anyone anything. Also, your crotch is on full display, and you are sweaty and tired and bitchy as hell,its not a friggin party people, go away.

Everyone else we are trying to hold off until 13 weeks. Though we did avert an FB crisis where youngest BIL heard and was told no passing on, then friggin posts it on FB by also tagging us!! oh geeze, so we caught that within 10 mins and hopefully nobody saw.

I love my lululemon yoga pants. They're not technically "maternity", but they're comfy as hell, fit fantastically, will stretch out for pregnancy and shrink back after, and are CUTE.

After we got our first ultrasound and confirmed baby was healthy -- which was the NT scan at 12w6d, so basically the end of the first trimester.
