7 DPO blood work

Hi Ladies-

I am supposed to go for 7dpo b/w this cycle, d/t OPK and temp spike this am I am assuming I O'd yesterday, will have to wait until Wednesday to confirm for sure. If I did O yesterday b/w would be due on Sunday, should I go Friday for 5dpo or Monday for 8dpo. BTW I have a call out to my doc to see what they prefer but thought I would check here as well.

    Go Monday.  If you're 5dpo Friday your progesterone will not have peaked yet & it may make your doctor think you have low progesterone when you don't.  At 8dpo it will still be high enough to read appropriately.

    I would call your doctor and ask what they want.  My guess is that they will have you go Monday and just note that you're 8dpo instead of 7.  Also, if you live near a bigger city or hospital, their lab might have Sunday hours- something worth checking out!

    Thanks! MD said Monday as well. One more question. If by any chance I am KU this month, will 8 dpo be too late to start progesterone should it be deemed necessary?
