GIRL!!!!!!

Unlike with DS, this little one was very shy about showing off the goods and it definitely took a few tries.

Even though my instincts were on target, it's still sinking in that this baby is going to come out with different parts than DS.

I'm not even going to pretend that my favorite color isn't pink, so the fact that I get to paint a room pink in my house is freaking awesome

I forgot to mention, the best part of my ultrasound was when I declared "it's a boy" while looking at the baby's brain. I swear I saw something that looked like 2 balls and a penis. But then of course when the tech got to the genital area, the baby's legs were tightly closed and she wouldn't budge. After such a long time, I kept thinking I was not seeing anything, and then I saw distinctly the "3 lines" and it was obviously very different than what I saw with DS!

We just painted DD#1's new "big girl" room pink and it was so fun! As a mom of 2 girls (plus one unknown gender baby in the belly currently), I have had so much fun, especially as DD#1 gets older (she is 3) and is all into dresses and skirts. Congrats!

Congratulations! I love having one of each - they are great buddies, and it's so interesting to observe the differences between boys and girls. So far, mine are pretty stereotypical, so hopefully your girl will love pink as much as you do.

SO exciting!!! My little girl was very shy on US as well - legs crossed and the tech nearly called it a day before, finally, she decided to cooperate. It's so cool that you get to experience having both a boy and a girl! Congratulations!
