Fvck! What now - help!

Hi ladies - I need your expert advice here. My doc proscribed prometrium to end another marathon cycle and hopefully "jump start" the next one to be shorter. She gave it to me the day after I got a +opk (digital), which was 10 days ago. I was waiting to see if my temps went up - which they really didn't. Over the next week my opks were moderately darkish, but never positive. I assumed I didn't O, b/c if I did my OPKs would go back to light or white and my temps would be higher. Last night I gave up and started taking the P. Then, this morning, I get a crazy dark OPK. I don't have a digital to confirm, but I'm pretty confident it's positive. Its darker than it was when I confirmed with a digitial on my last +opk (which was also when i was uber dehydrated) I don't believe prometrium (progesterone) can cause a + opk right? (and fyi I got a BFN too - so not phishing for that)
What do I do now? Should I stop taking the P to give my body a chance to O? Should I keep taking it and say f* you cycle? Should I wait a day or two and start taking it again? Will that screw everything up to take one pill and stop?! Why is this so freaking hard? ERRRGH.

3 Clomid (100mg) cycles + TI + Trigger = BFN's, Femara + Trigger + IUI#1 = BFN

I agree with Rawr. Even though I ovulated around CD 40 with Aurora. I was told that even if you did O this late, your lining will probably be too old anyways. I really hope the next cycle isn't so long!

It's like I wait for 50-70 days to see that magical little red line on the OPK and the ONE time it happens is when I just started taking meds. How freaking annoying!

I wasn't really following why your doc is having you take prometrium now... is it so that when you stop taking it, your body will be like "oh yeah, I'm supposed to be ovulating and having AF once in a while" ?
Just wondering b/c my doc has prescribed it for my luteal phase (and beyond if I get a BFP) only.
