Every meal I try to give her a finger food from what we're having. We're still trying to avoid the allergenic dairy, wheat and eggs, so if we have spaghetti I give her cut up quinoa noodles, for instance.
I've given her very soft veggies which includes everything from soft cooked green beans and asparagus to pieces of cut up avocado, and also some shredded lettuce leaves. We've also done steamed pieces of sweet potato and snap peas. We've done mum mums, lots of commercial cereals (she seems to really like the texture of corn chex) and tortilla chips. I've even let her get her hands and her own spoon into purees so if she wants to self-feed she's more than welcome.
She thinks all of the above is poison though, so ymmv. Even the purees. Except she'll suck the salt off the tortilla chips. Sigh.
We also try to give E some of what we're eating. She loves sweet potato fries and elbow noodles the best. She's also had a variety of soft fruits and steamed veggies, chunks of ham, chunks of cheese, waffles (I actually gave her a whole frozen waffle when she was teething and she would chew on it and eat little pieces), pancakes, french toast, and cheerios. We've given her chicken a few times too and she really liked it. For lunch a few days ago I made a grilled cheese and tomato soup so she had a few small chunks of my sandwich and some of my tomato soup on a baby spoon. She used to love solids but recently she acts like we're trying to torture her when we put it in front of her so she's not getting much now a days.
Oh, we've also done the puffs, lil' crunchies by Gerber, mum mums, arrowroot cookies, and just gave her a teething biscuit the other day.

Mostly the same as PP... puffs of differing flavors, mum-mums (although he doesn't care for them much now that he's had tastier foods), and I give him little bits of what I'm eating. The other day I gave him some fried cabbage and he LOVED it, he loves breads, not much into actual fruit yet but he'll eat the purees... H has given him tilapia, but I don't think feeding Lucian fish/shellfish is a good idea yet.

We've done puffs and melts. I bought Earth's Best vanilla cookies (they're similar to mum mums) and cheese crisps (like cheez-its for babies). I've made her banana waffles. She's had tastes of pancakes, noodles, rice. She stole my pop tart right out of my hand one time. I try to share my food with her, but we don't eat much baby-safe food.
Mostly the same as what's been mentioned already. He loves toast cut into squares, french toast, pancakes, waffles. Spiral pasta, ground beef/turkey, bananas, blueberries, mandarin oranges (A HUGE HIT), melons of every kind, soft steamed carrots and peas, sweet potato fries, lunch meat, shredded cheese. His absolute favorite thing to eat are my sandwiches. Especially grilled cheese. Go figure, all buttery fried deliciousness.
