When does cord fall off?

Little man's cord has been starting to come off for a couple days, it looks like it's just about ready to pop off but I'm afraid to touch it. When did your LO's cord fall off?

My daughter's came off at about 3 or 4 weeks, don't quite remember.

Both of ours came off after about 2-3 weeks. I don't remember exactly but I know they came off within one day of each other.

Most of it came off right at 3 weeks. The dr. noticed a little still attached (we went in for a weight check), but I'm pretty sure its all gone now.

Claire's came off at 5 days, but she still has a granuloma deep in there. We are keeping an eye on it, but the pedi might need to cauterize it.

Our LO was 8 days old when his came off. There was dried blood around it when we changed his diapers for another few days after that - we just cleaned with a qtip soaked in water.

My daughter's fell off when she was 8 days old. It caught me by surprise when I was changing her diaper- I bumped it when folding the top of the diaper over and it came off.

DS lost his at week 4. our Ped told us to rub a little alcohol on it to help dry it up and clean it out. It doesn't hurt him but was cold, so I would put it on his wipe warmer them rub his cord-didn't bother him a bit and a lot of crud gets wiped away too.
