How big was your LO at birth?

Now that I'm 39 weeks (I've never been past 38w5d with my last pg), I'm curious if this guy is going to be BIG....At my last u/s the growth scan at 35 weeks, the growth scan estimated about 5 1/2 lbs....

well it depends on the person, but my first was 8.6, my second was 7.15

I know plenty of people that went overdue and had 7 pounders.

I had to be induced at 37 weeks due to pre-eclampsia. DS was 8lb4oz 20 inches long at 37 weeks gestation.

I'm really nervous what this one will weigh. I'm hoping to not have to be induced and go to my due date or past it. Smile

first was 8.5 at a full 40 weeks born on his due date. The second was 7.2 born at around 38 weeks. It completely depends. I tend to have larger babies just because, but this one may decide to be small. There's no real way to know for sure.

I went to 41 weeks exactly with both my first and second babies. My son (first) was 8lbs 3oz and my daughter (2nd) was 8lbs6oz.

DS was born at 40w3d and was 8lb15oz. DH and I were both either just under or over 10lbs at birth though, so big babies were in our genes.

#1 was 7lb 15 oz at 41w2d

#2 was 8lb 14 oz at 40w2d

Both growth scans were under predicting IIRC for mine.

DS was 8lbs 3oz @ 40wk 3d.

They also estimated this baby at 5.5 lbs at my 35 week growth scan so I'm interested to see how big she will be.

At 40 weeks 5 days DD was born at 9 pounds even. Three days before, my OB estimated that she would be about 7 1/2 pounds.

Yeah, it all depends on the person. My first LO was born at 39 weeks 4 days and weighed 7 lb 13 oz and 20 inches long. This baby is already measuring WAAAAY bigger and if I make it to almost 40 weeks, he is estimated to be in the 9-10 lb range.
