Cloth Diapering

is this normal for a wetbag?

my planetwise wet bag gets really wet on the outside if I put a super wet diaper in it. I mean really soaking wet that I just saturated in the sink. should it get wet on the outside from that much water inside?

Re: is this normal for a wetbag?

  • I don't think that's normal. It sounds like it's not working right - my wetbags never leak.

  • Nope- that should definitely not be happening; it shouldn't be wet on the outside at all!
  • I, too, have never had any wetness on the outside. I'd contact the retailer and see about a replacement.

  • Not sure if you line  dry your bags but I had this problem with a Thirsties diaper duffel and when I contacted customer service this is what they said:

Line drying is good for removing stains and
sanitizing, however it can cause products with PUL to delaminate when the
temperatures are above 85 degrees. We recommend to line dry items with
components such as PUL, elastic and Aplix in the shade on a hot day or only for
    a short period of time.
