Boy Name Poll

For those who read my previous post you know I recently fell in love with the name Jacob (Not realizing how popular it was). I had no idea it was a Twilight name...but it's the first name I got excited about, so I want to keep it on my list! Not sure if popularity will deter me this time. . . I did remove Aidan from the list due to the popularity but bc I didn't LOVE it.

    I think all three of your first names are great; strong and traditional. I'm not a big fan of "Ryan" just because it's becoming more androgynous and I am not a fan of that, but that's me.

    All of your names are traditional, spelled correctly, and nice, so I don't think you can go wrong. Ryan has been creeping up as a girl name though. I chose Matthew because it would have made my short list had we not had 3 friends named Matt.

    I feel like all of your choices are very common names, so I wouldn't let the slightly greater popularity of Jacob deter you. It IS a nice name--go for it.

    I couldn't bring myself to vote because I love the first three names on your list.  I'm in love with the nn's Jake, Nick, Matt, etc.  I don't think you can go wrong with any of them!

    Honestly, I don't think that the generation born in 2011-2012 is going to make the 'Twilight' association.  It's not as though the books are going to be treasured classics.  If you love Jacob, go with Jacob!  All of your other name choices are fine as well.
