I've been reading about natural induction methods and it seems most of them are intended to start the process of dilation/effacement. I'm already 5cm and 90% effaced. I'm also having regular contractions - Just not painful enough to be admitted.
Are there any methods out there that will help intensify my contractions?
Thanks!
Re: Another S/O re Natural Induction Methods
Squats and lunges?!
If the contractions aren't painful, has baby not dropped? Squats and lunges (but not hardcore gym squats and lunges) open the pelvis more and can help baby drop which will put pressure on the cervix, thats the action necessary to get active labor going.
Squat like this:
And lunges can be done with one leg up on sofa or a chair
And walk! (also opens up the pelvis)

Thank you! Yes, baby is suuuuppppper low. I had the same thing with Madison. When I went in to be induced and was hooked up to the monitors, they were surprised I wasn't having pain with my contractions. As soon as they broke my water, everything was super painful and crazy fast.
Off to squat...
