I'm 3 weeks 5 days pregnant and new to this site. I have quite a few questions as this is my first baby. My husband and I were not trying (actually doing the exact opposite), but now that it's happened, we wouldn't want it any other way. ANYWAYS...I keep seeing a lot of abbreviations that I don't understand...I know DH means dear husband and u/s is ultrasound, but other than that I'm unfamiliar with the abbreviations. My question is, what abbreviations should I be most familiar with???
Also...a question not about the site: How soon can I run out to my favorite baby stores and register for everything my heart desires?!

Congratulations and welcome! Also my first baby and feeling a little overwhelmed by all the things you have to figure out in just 9 months.

It can be overwhelming but feel free to ask anything here! There are several of us who have BTDT and lots more girls who are a little further along that may also have the answer!

As for when to run to the baby store and register- run to the store as soon as you like.... give it a little while on the registry. Although.... there's no harm in starting one online and keeping it private. No one will know.... lol
