16.5 mo/14 mo adjusted and we have a WALKER

I never thought the day would come.  For 6 months, my son has been pulling self up and walking along furniture and just about everything else.  For past 4 months he has been walking holding just one of my hands, but whenever I let go he would sit down.  Finally, about a week or so ago, he started doing a lot more standing on own not holding on and would take a random step or two, but as of yesterday he just took off.  He took around 20 steps in a row- very slow!  He now will stand for several minutes not holding on and take a bunch of steps.  Seems like crawling is his preferred and more speedy mode of transportation.  I am so proud of my little guy.  I was so worried he would be two before he walked.
