Microfiber Inserts and Prefold folding ?'s

Got a few questions...

Can you use Microfiber Inserts (from pocket dipes) in a cover without anything between the insert and baby?

Also, what is the best fold for a prefold for keeping EBF poo in the diaper and off of the cover?

Thank you!

No, MF can't be against baby, you need something in between (fleece liner, natural fiber, etc.).

The angel wing fold worked best for us.

You can't put microfiber inserts up against baby's skin.

Not sure about fold for prefold we didn't switch until later on.

Unless I am confused, our Flip inserts are MF and they are against LO's skin.

Sorry. ...I mis-spoke.  They are microfiber, but the part that touches skin is not.  Nevermind.

    imagesecondaryPULSE:
The Jellyroll fold is particularly good at keeping in EBF poo. His poo rarely gets outta the "rolls" on the legs. When we used the angel wing fold, there was CONSTANTLY poop getting on our covers. I do, however, like the extra absorbency in the front (for a boy) using the angel wing fold. If I don't think he's going to poo, we angel wing fold (when I'm using PFs/covers).

    Ok, Thank y'all.

    What is the Jellyroll fold?
