FINALLY spilled the beans...kinda!

Sorry, this is so long. I'm just so excited!

We were waiting to tell people, even family, until I was 12 weeks and knew things were okay. I had an OB appointment yesterday (that I had to wait forever for) and it went great! She was able to hear the heartbeat on the doppler, which is pretty much what showed that something was wrong with our last baby (no heartbeat anymore). So, needless to say, I hated my OB's doppler. It brought horrible memories. BUT, she was able to find babies HB right away!! After that experience was over, I felt like things were finally "good." I told DH when I got home last night that I thought it was okay to finally tell people!

So, I told my parents and sister today!!! I told my Mom and Dad first. My due date is on my moms birthday (4-14), so I just casually said, "Hey mom, I have the coolest gift for your birthday this year." She was like, "you do, already??" and I was like, "Yeah, you'll love it. Its a new grandbaby!!!" And she freaked!!! I feel bad for not doing something, like giving her something like I did last time, but honestly I was just so excited to FINALLY tell someone, I just had to do it!

I told my sister a couple hours later and she was beyond thrilled for me. We sat there talking and bawling for over an hour - I just adore my sister (shes 8 years older) and she's so supportive and wants the world for me. She took me losing two babies really hard, since I'm only 22 and she had 3 perfectly healthy kids right in a row with NO problems, and didn't think something like that could happen to someone she knew and loved. Whats more exciting is her youngest son was born last April (due on my moms bday, too!? Crazy!! Although he came a week early..) so if I have a boy, then I will have soo many clothes and things from him!

I am just so excited that someone finally knows. It was getting so hard to keep my mouth shut! Now we're telling DH's family probably next weekend. I can't wait, his family is going to be so excited, too! Yay!!
