Do you give yourself your own injections?

I have my husband do it but he's away. I'm so not looking forward to doing it to myself, but I will do it..

I've only done Lupron shots on myself, which are all in the belly. No butt shots though. Good luck, you can do it!

You can do it! I gave myself all except maybe 2 of my sub-cutaneous injections (my H wanted to practice, so he did those 2).  I actually preferred doing them myself, since I was doing them in my belly.  I just felt like I had more control, and they really weren't that bad at all.

My H does all of my IM injections (the trigger and progesterone).

I started doing the sub-q shots, but had my husband do them towards the end, so he got the feel for it.  He did the trigger and all the IM injections.

I gave myself all my shots.  I am a bit of a needlephobe, so this was a big deal for me.  I just figured that at least I could control it if I do it myself.  I also think that they don't really hurt b/c I'm so focused on doing the shot that I don't really think about anything else.

I gave myself all of my injections except the progestrone! Those were super easy! I tried the progestrone for the first time in my thigh so I didn't have to twist around and aim for my upper butt check with that super long needle......well, yea NEVER give yourself the progestrone shot in your thigh! I was crippled for 1.5 days. I literally thought I'd messed up a liagament or tendon! It was bad! I had to have a good friend give me that shot for the remainder of the time. This time around I want to learn how to give my progestrone shot myself, though. GL!

I prefer to give myself my injections, but this cycle DH wanted to help out more/feel more involved so he did 3 out of my 4 gonal-f shots.  So far all of my shots have been sub-q and in the abdomen...not sure how I'd feel about him doing IMs...
After 5 TI Clomid cycles, 5 IUIs, and 2 IVFs we finally got our BFP!

Thanks all! I did it and it was fine! I even had to prime the needle... I do worry about that trigger shot if its tomorrow just cause its a bit bigger, but I will do it. And yes, it is a small victory!

You will be fine. I was nervous too but I prefer to do them myself. DH is the "ice man" as he will ice the area where the shot will be to help numb it.
