Stupid mastitis

So I had been pumping twice a day and getting about 8oz per day to freeze/use for bottles. Then I got mastitis the same time as the 6 week growth spurt. So LO has been nursing nonstop which is a good thing but now when I pump I barely get anything! If I keep pumping even if there is nothing coming out will my body eventually adjust to that and produce more? I am having to go into my freezer stash to give LO a bottle at least once a day because my nipples are so sore from nursing all day.
