DH spoke again today...

Maybe he just shouldn't anymore :)

In case you missed it last night he told me soon I'd be as wide as I am tall (the use of "wide" is the operative issue here- I'm not getting wider damnit!).

Today he told me "Maybe you should stay away from horizontal stripes....."

Such a doofus.  Good thing he's sexy, too.  :)

    Ha. My husband, who doesn't have a mean bone in his body, was mortified when I took his "aw, you're squishy again!" comment the wrong way. All he meant was that I wasn't as scrawny as I had been (a few months ago I lost a TON of weight...we were in Arkansas for a summer rep theatre and I was in three shows. No time to eat, lots of time to sweat and dance!) and that he was glad I was huggable once more. 

    Husbands are adorable.

    I've just learned to not let DH's random comments bother me. Most the time, he really has no idea what he said. So I either ignore him or say, "honey, open mouth, insert foot." Then move on. Better then getting upset at it. Now once in awhile, I still do when it is incredibly out there.

    My hubby's favorite is "You're getting round, and I'm going to be around the round..." so irritating! He's lucky I love him, lol
