Worst period ever (vent)

ughhh..anyone else have AF this week?

Luckily, I'm not one who gets regular cramps, nausea, and headaches during my period, but today is CD3 and all 3 days have been hell! I left work at noon yesterday and MH took me to the ER later on that night because I thought there had to be a cyst or something wrong. Extreme cramps and nausea...nightmare!

I have a SIS on Monday and thought I should've waited until then for the u/s, but they did one last night. No cysts and I was discharged due to dysmenorrhea.  I took a Vicodin the last couple days and it helped some, but one of the nurse's was like "just take a Motrin and you'll be fine". Made me feel like a hypochondriac, but good lawd, these days have been painful!

TTC #1 since April '09
Dec '09 Laparotomy & laparoscopy for large cyst & HSG all clear
August '10-June '11 TTA for hip surgeries
Cycle #23...Dx: MFI, low p4
2 rounds of Clomid (50 mg) = BFNs...October SIS & 2nd HSG all clear
Plan after saving: repeat s/a + Clomid + Novarel + IUI

    I'm sorry you've had one b!tch of an AF.  Hope she goes away soon.  I'm still about five days away from AF, and last month I had bad cramps...I usually only get cramps one every three periods so I hope this one will be smooth sailing.

    TTC since July 2009. Dx MFI & LPD. 
    IUI#1&2&3 (2011 & 2012) BFN
    IUI#4 1/23/13 on 75iu x9 Follistim = BFP then chem preg m/c (Feb 2013)

    Saw heartbeat twice before missed M/C at 8w3d on 12/27/13, missing my little angel boy
    JUNE 2014 IVF#2;  5R, 2M, 1F Three day transfer 6/7.  Beta 6/18 - BFN

    I'm CD 1 and have raging cramps.  They're much worse on a medicated cycle.

    Hope it get better soon! 


    After more than 2 years of fertility treatments, FET did the trick!
    IVF March 2012 - BFP! - Severe OHSS = 8 days in the hospital in kidney failure
    No heartbeat at 10w6d
    FET August 27,2012 = BFP!

    I don't have AF right now, but I can feel your pain!  My cramps are pretty much always to the point where vicodin doesn't even touch them.  Hope it eases up soon!
    TTC since 3/2010 Off BCP 2008 B/W = Good
    HSG 6/24/2011 = Clear S/A = Decrease in Morph due to meds
    First RE appt = 8/24/2011 Lap on 9/16/2011
    Dx = Endo and possible blocked tube
    Natural Cycle due to Cyst

    Thanks genmalone! I thought maybe since I was on meds fir 2 cycles & now off for this cycle it'd be 'normal', but oh Lawd so wrong!
