Official intro: we have a heartbeat!

I was hesitating on posting due to my early loss last time, but I'm here, and we had our 1st ultrasound this morning. Everything looks wonderful, strong heartbeat, and my dates were spot on! I'm looking forward to being a May mom!

    Woohoo!  Congrats!  

     I do have to say, I'm starting to get jealous of all you girls with your first tri ultrasounds.  Here in Canada, they will not do an ultrasound until 20 weeks for the anatomy scan unless you opt into the NT scan or are having complications.  They won't even listen for the heartbeat with a doppler until 12 weeks!!

    I love it here, but darnit, I wanna see my baby!

    That is awesome news!  Congrats!  I am eagerly awaiting my first appointment.  Unfortunately, I have to wait another 2 weeks because I made the request to see the same OB that delivered my son 14 years ago (I know ... yikes).  But I am looking forward to seeing the heartbeat for the first time and seeing the look on my husband's face!  Congrats again!  Welcome to the May Club!
