I read a blog. 50% of the width of the blog is ads, which fine, I get it, you have sponsors. Just something I have to live with. Page down, page down, end of content. Page down, page down, page down. Because there are that many ads. nothing where the actual blog should be. Blank space and ads.
Really?
And if I see another blog entry anywhere about Green Mountain K-cups or a recipie using Philly cream cheese, I may just stop reading them altogether. Ads are one thing, but when I see the same crap on half the blogs I read because they went to BlogHer, I want to scream.
Re: Why do I let silly things like this bother me
I guess I just don't care. Particularly for my political bloggers, I sort of expect that there are ads because I expect that they are essentially quasi-freelance news writers. But I only follow one mommy-blogger so that world of blogs might be different.
