Those of you using a convertible carseat

where did you place it?  In the middle or on the side.

Re: Those of you using a convertible carseat

  • Ours is in the middle. It doesn't fit behind our seats without eating the dashboard/steerling wheel.

  • Ours is on the side.  We have a large backseat so it fits well and it a little easier to get her in and out.

  • Mine fit better on the side behind the driver, in DH's car it fit behind the passenger.

  • I had it on the side for the longest time.  I have just moved it to the middle so my boys have more room for each of them.  Plus this way they can help entertain Ladybug no matter who is in the car without having to lean out of their seatbelts too far.
  • behind the passenger seat, per the vehicle manual.  the center back has a flip up armrest thing for the other two back passengers, guess that's why they want it on the side.  I do have to move the front passenger seat up a little to accomodate it, so no super talls can sit up front now.

  • Both of our cars will fit it in the middle, and since that's the safest place to put it in a car (sedan), that's where it goes.
