Help! Day care recs in Macomb county

in Detroit Babies

I am really looking for help on recs for daycare centers in Macomb county. Preferably in St Clair Shores, Macomb Twp or surronding areas. I have googled but havent found much and its best to get recs from mothers that have had personal experience. TIA.

    We use the Goddard in Oxford for preschool and have been fairly happy, there's one on Hayes in Macomb.  https://www.goddardschool.com/Schools/Macomb-MI/schools.gspx

    We use Diapers 2 Diplomas on Cass and Heydenreich in Clinton Township.  It's a small center.  The owner/director is great.

    6 failed clomid/femara/TI cycles, 1 failed clomid/ovidrel/IUI cycle
    Successful Cycle: 5/12/11 - 1000mg Metformin + 100mg Clomid(late response) + TI = BFP

    2/13/12 - We proudly welcomed our daughter, Hadley Teresa!

    How old is your child?  Is it an infant? A toddler? Is he/she potty trained?  I have a few centers in mind for you (I am a preschool teacher, and have lots of contacts in Macomb that are wonderful teachers that I have met through the years that work with all types of ages.)  A center that is great for infants may not be the best for a toddler or a preschooler and vice versa.  What philosophy and discipline techniques would you like your center to practice? What kind of relationship would you like to have with your child's caregiver?  Also, be warned, that while there are great home based centers out there, home centers liscensing is much more relaxed than a center.Also, employee screening at a center is typically much more extensive. Finding childcare can be daunting, but always follow your gut instincts! If something doesn't feel right when visiting a child care facility, then something probably isn't right.
