babysitters.... where are the good ones??

Hello, does anyone know of any EXCELLENT babysitters for newborns?   I've done both the sittercity and Craigslist ideas.   I have found some "average" people, but no one who I feel treats my NB with as much love/attention as I would like.    Thanks!

    Have you checked with local shops?  I know in Sewickley babysitters will put up flyers with their name and number, and post them on community boards - like the library, grocery store, local toy store, etc.
