in Trying to Get Pregnant

i am new to this so hi:)

anywaysss, my last period was september 15 and we had sex from the 24th up until the 30th..today. my big O is supposed to be tomorrow or sunday. what are the chances of pregnancy before ovulation? we have 2 handsome boys already, so we are adding a final and 3rd member:)

    i have checked for cervical position, so i am ovulating. as far as what ive read when your cerix is high, i am. just a question of the odds of getting pregnant before your actual ovulation date

    You can't get pregnant before you ovulate - it's impossible.  You can get pregnant, while ovulating, from sperm that is in your body from sex that took place days before ovulation.  Sperm can live in your body a few days in an ideal environment (fertile CM).  If you're asking the odds, I believe it's a 20% chance each month.

    So are you saying your ovulation date is wrong and you think you already ovulated?

    OP - I think what you might mean is - can you get pregnant if you had sex in the days leading up to ovulation but not the day of ovulation? If that is what you mean, then you can get pregnant that way as sperm can live for several days in fertile cervical mucus. Having sex in the 3 days prior to ovulation is a good idea for that reason, particularly because you cannot confirm that ovulation occurred until after it happens, by confirming with higher temperatures (if you are charting your temperatures). Therefore, it is a good idea to have sex before you ovulate until after you've confirmed that you have ovulated. But, if you have sex and do not ovulate there is a 0% change you will get pregnant.

    yes thats what im meaning, we had sex for a whole week right before ovulation which was yesterday. sorry for the confusion..
