I realized the other day that when I'm driving I usually just zone out listening to the music. DS is most often content in his seat playing and talking to himself and I realized the only time I usually even talk to him while driving is if he's fussing.
So do you always chat with LO or do you just kind of go off to your own Mommy Planet while driving?
Re: Do you talk to your LO in the car?
A little of both, but I mainly talk to her until she passes out.
I talk to her on and off.
When she starts fussing, I really start talking or singing.
"Emma, I can't the light is red." She claps "Go Mommy!" (like you go girl!) then we get through the intersection once the light has changed. "Go Mommy! Go Emma! Go Isla! Go Daddy! (not in the car) Go Aggie (our cat, also not in the car), Go Outside! Go Car! Go Sky! Yyyyyeahhhh!"
Most of the time I do...I ask him what he's up to, if he's enjoying his toy, what he did at daycare, etc...sometimes I'll tell him what's playing on the radio and try to sing along.
He probably sits in his seat and wonders what Crazy Mom is rambling about.
He's growing up, but he'll always be my baby!
