... or maybe it's just reeeaaallly lazy. Either way, I'm pretty annoyed with it right now.
The whole reason I'm doing "Long Lupron" for IVF #2 is because they wanted to try to coax more than 1 egg out of my right ovary this time, so they'll have more eggs overall to work with (last time they got 1 from my right, 11 from my left).
Well, this morning was monitoring appointment #2... and my jerky right ovary only has 1 measurable follicle. AGAIN. WTF?!?! We know there is something weird about my right ovary, because it hides and looks much smaller than my left ovary on a consistent basis... but seriously.... WTF?! I'm on MUCH higher doses of stims this time!!! Get off your butt and do something, right ovary!!!
End rant, and thanks for understanding. No one in real life does

Thanks! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for progress by Sunday, because I run out of Follistim after that (and don't really relish the idea of paying for more)!
Me = lean PCOS;DH = poor morphology (3%)

IVF #1 with ICSI: antagonist protocol = BFFN
IVF #2 with ICSI : Lupron downregulation = BFFN...FML
IVF #3 with ICSI and AH (Antagonist) = IT'S A BOY!!!!
Thanks!

oh no - that is reason to hope for the best. I'm worried that is going to happen to me this time - I don't want to buy more than I'll need - but I'm worried I'll cut it close at the end. What is your Follistim dose? I was up to 375IU for a few days on my IVF!

I'm on 225IU right now. That's not nearly as high as a lot of people's doses (like yours - 375 seems like so much!), but it's a LOT more than I did for my last IVF -- which was only 100IU. I hate the anxiety of not knowing if you have enough meds... I hope you won't have to deal with it!

I haven't done IVF but sounds alot like my left ovary lol
Mine always looked super long and skinny like it was being squished by the uterus and is incredibly hard to find on U/S but during my lap back in March they discovered my left ovary is actually deformed. Talk about ANNOYING! If its not one thing its another...my right one is polycystic so it rarely responsds to meds lol
